Aw, thanks! I had brief thoughts that it might murder me in my sleep but then I figured, eh, Cthulhu is more the type to murder THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE so it'll probably be ok.
For some reason I googled knit-thulhu and it turns out lots of people have this idea. There are a bunch of patterns, some for hats, one or two just for little stuffed evil pals like this. I couldn't have made it up--I'm not that advanced. But I had some green yarn I wasn't using and I couldn't resist. It also gave me the opportunity to learn a new and useful thing (knitting in the round on double-pointed needles....helps if you want to make hats and socks and some other stuff.)
